The holidays and brunch make it fully acceptable to have a cocktail with breakfast! There are two that drinks that always come to mind; a Bloody Mary and a Mimosa. Well this is a spin on a classic.

Adding pomegranate juice not only makes it fun and festive, but adds a whole flavor dimension that is delicious!

How To Make Pomegranate Mimosa

  1. In a pitcher or glasses combine the pomegranate juice and orange juice. Stir until they are blended.
  2. Pour in the sparkling wine.
  3. Add your pomegranate seeds if you want to use them.

Yep, that simple!

What Champagne Is Best For Mimosas

You really just want to use a Brut variety. The juices you are using are sweet, so you don’t need a Prosecco or something labeled Spumante. Those will be sweeter and your mimosa will end up pretty sweet.

As for brand, that really depends on your budget. I like to go middle of the road around a $10 bottle. My liquor stores sell a bottle that is close to $5, and I always skip that one. But much higher than $12 and I think it gets covered by the juices and is not worth the increase in price.
