Witches Brew – a fun and easy drink you can make for Halloween. Kid-friendly, but options to make it for the adults as well!

Halloween was always one of the best things as a kid. You got to dress up, have parties, get tons of candy, and there was always fun themed treats! This Witches Brew is just a simple, but super fun drink you can make for any party this fall!

There are lots of options to make it your own, and use what you might have on hand already. You can make just a few glasses for your family, or a whole punch bowl for the neighborhood! Halloween drinks for kids are just fun for everyone!

What You’ll Need

  • Sherbet – lime, orange, or rainbow
  • 7-Up or Sprite
  • Green Drink – you can use Kool-Aid, Green Hawaiian Punch or even Gatorade
  • Gummy Worms for decoration

The ingredients you use for this is really up to you. You just want the sherbet, something green or even purple to be the base of the drink, and the sprite allows it to foam up and look like a witches brew.

How To Make Witches Brew

  1. Fill each glass about half full with cold green drink of choice
  2. Add a couple of scoops of sherbet
  3. Top with sprite or 7-Up
  4. Garnish with gummy worms for a spooky and fun look

The KEY is to make sure your drinks are super cold when you start. You using sherbet, which will help keep things cold, but you don’t want it to melt immediately. So get your green drink and sprite cold before starting.

How Do I Make This For A Party

This is great in a punch bowl! You will want to pour in the green drink and then scoop the full carton of sherbet into the punch bowl. Top with sprite, and then have a ladle for serving. You want to assemble immediately before serving, or the sherbet will melt and the sprite will no longer foam up.

This is a great Halloween drink for kids or even adults at a party. Everyone will enjoy and have fun with it.

Can I Add Alcohol

Absolutely! If you want to make this for a grown up party, you can definitely add alcohol. I would add vodka because of the neutral flavor, it won’t interfere with the juice and sherbet. But they also sell all sorts of flavored vodkas these days, so you can pick your favorite that will go with the flavors you choose.
