Peanut Butter Butterscotch Krispie Treats – a super easy, no bake treat that is thick, dense, and almost fudgy.
Peanut Butter and Butterscotch is one of those flavor combinations that not everyone thinks of, but is so good together. Most people have it in Special K Bars and that is about it, but these krispie treats are down right addictive and will have you craving the flavor combo over and over again!

Butterscotch Krispie Treats
Butterscotch is one of those flavors that so many people love, but is often forgotten. These krispie treats have just 3 ingredients, 4 if you drizzle white chocolate on the top. So they are ready in literally 5 minutes, and so easy to make. No baking, just melting and stirring. Doesn’t get much easier!
If you like butterscotch, these are totally for you! They aren’t your traditional, gooey Rice Krispie treats. They are just full on butterscotch and peanut butter flavor, dense and almost fudgy in texture.
What You’ll Need

- Butterscotch Chips
- Creamy Peanut Butter – you want the commercial style like Jif or Skippy for this recipe
- Rice Krispies
- White Chocolate

How To Make Butterscotch Krispie Bars
- I like to start by lining an 8-inch square baking dish with foil or parchment paper, so it is easy to remove and slice into bars.
- Melt peanut butter and butterscotch chips together until smooth. You can do this in the microwave in 45 second intervals or you can use a double boiler on the stove.
- Pour over cereal, and mix until well coated. Press into prepared pan.
- Drizzle with melted white chocolate, if desired.

Storing Bars
These will last for 4-5 days stored in an airtight container. You can also freeze them for 2-3 months, just let them sit at room temperature for a couple of hours before serving.
