How To Make Strawberry Margarita Jello Shots

  • Mix together boiling water and the strawberry Jello in a bowl until it is fully dissolved. Stir well for about 2 minutes for this to happen.

What Tequila To Use for Strawberry Margarita Jello Shots

These will taste strong when you first have them, but there really isn’t that very much alcohol in each shot. But because that is a dominating flavor, you want to use something good, a high quality tequila. If you use the super cheap stuff, you will taste it and not enjoy it.

I think they taste best with a white, silver or blanco tequila.

How Long Does It Take Jello Shots To Set

It will take about 2 hours in the fridge for them to completely set up, so that you can invert them and coat the rim in salt or sugar.

How Long Do Jello Shots Last

They last for about a week is they are covered in the fridge. So these are great to make ahead for your get together, and then you can line the rim with sugar or salt when you are ready to serve.

What Cups Work For Jello Shots

I find these 2-ounce disposable cups to be perfect because they also come with a lid, so you can store them in the fridge or make them ahead and not have them dry out.
