Air Fryer Shrimp

Air Fryer Shrimp – plump and juicy shrimp that are ready in just 8 minutes! Dinner really doesn’t get any faster or easier than this. They are seasoned perfectly and can be served as in tacos, on pasta, or part of a salad!

Shrimp is one of those things that I love to always have in the freezer. Not only is it one of our favorite meals, it is so easy to make last minute. You can thaw shrimp in no time by letting it sit in a bowl of cold water, it cooks in literally just a few minutes, and it is really good for you!

This Air Fryer Coconut Shrimp is a fun breaded version, but this is just lightly seasoned and full of great flavor! It takes about 10 minutes from start to finish to get dinner on the table. You can’t beat that!

How To Make Air Fryer Shrimp

  1. The first step is to prep the shrimp. You want to make sure they are peeled, and deveined. Most shrimp you buy is already deveined, but often times you still need to remove the shells. You can leave the tail on if you want, but it is also completely fine to remove it.
  2. Mix together the olive oil with the garlic and the spices until you have a nice paste.
  3. Toss together the shrimp with the spice mixture until the shrimp are really evenly coated.
  4. Place in an even layer inside the air fryer, making sure they aren’t on top of each other and cook at 400º F for 8 minutes. If you are using really jumbo shrimp, you made need to add 1 minute of cooking time.
  5. Remove and serve

What To Serve With Air Fryer Shrimp

These shrimp are great to enjoy as is with a side of Broccoli Rice Casserole or Potato Wedges, but they are also great in other dishes. I like to add them to a Tossed Salad to make it a meal sometimes.

You can use the seasoning called for in each recipe and then just cook them using this method. They get so plump and juicy in so little time!

Storing Leftovers

If you have shrimp leftover store them in the fridge in an air tight container. They are great to add cold to a salad or you can reheat them gently in a skillet or even the air fryer for just a few minutes. They will last for about 3 days in the fridge.
