How To Tell When Chicken Is Done

Every oven is different and every piece of chicken is a different size and thickness. So even those my chicken might be done after 20 minutes, it make take you 30 if you are using a thicker piece of chicken than me.

The best way to tell when chicken is done is to use an instant read thermometer. You want it to read 165º F when you insert it to the thickest part of the chicken. Once it reaches this temperature, take it out of the oven and serve.

What Is Ranch Dressing Mix

You can usually find ranch dressing mix near the salad dressings in your grocery store. It is a packet of seasoning that you use to make ranch dressing. It adds a ton of flavor to this dish without a lot of measuring or having to have different spices on hand.

What To Serve With Baked Chicken

Store any leftovers in the fridge for 3-4 days. You can reheat in the microwave or a 350º F oven until the chicken is warmed through.

  1. My son complains about having chicken for dinner… unless I make something really yummy. I know he’d like this one. Can’t wait to try your recipe!

  2. Our version of chicken from my childhood was chicken with salt and pepper dredged in flour, then baked. It was delicious… but we ate it so much that I haven’t made it in probably 10 years. I’m more like you now, not making the same dish in the same month because I don’t want to repeats.

This recipe, however, looks like an utter treat. I’ve pinned it and cannot wait to jazz up our chicken game with this entree! Nicely done!

  3. Your version with added cheddar sounds way better! And I wish I had a menu. I start my day off by digging around in the freezer. 😉 And I love chicken tenders, too! So much more convenient.

  4. There is no way my daughter can say no to these! Ranch is a big favourite here 🙂

  5. We have chicken several times a week so I am up always up for trying something new! This looks great…and EASY…which I love!
