Sparkling Berry Lemonade – Use some of those fresh summer berries to make a sweet, tart, and refreshing lemonade! Plus add use sparkling water to make it fizzy!
When it comes to summer and warm weather I love making a big pitcher of Fresh Squeezed Lemonade. And there are so many ways you can mix it up with different fruits. This Raspberry Lemonade is perfect if you love raspberries.
This version uses a mix of fresh summer berries to make an extra fruity, sweet, tart, and delicious berry lemonade.

When it comes to drinks, I like things fizzy! So this sparkling lemonade uses sparkling water to give it that fizz. There are lots of options you can use for this too, it doesn’t have to be plane.
- Flavored Sparkling Water (like La Croix, Bubly, Spindrift etc)
- Club Soda
- Seltzer Water (lots of berry and lemon flavor options)
And if you don’t like carbonation, using regular water is the perfection alternative. Either way the berries will shine through and you will have a refreshing berry lemonade everyone will love.

What You’ll Need
- Sugar
- Water
- Lemons
- Berries (any combo of strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries)
- Sparkling Water
Spiked Lemonade?
Want to make an adult version, vodka is the perfect addition. Here is a recipe for classic Vodka Lemonade. I like a ratio of about 6 oz of lemonade to 2 oz of vodka. It is best to add the vodka to each glass and not the pitcher, so you get the right amount.

How To Make Sparkling Berry Lemonade
- Start by making a simple syrup. This sounds fancy, but it is just a sugar water. Add water and sugar to a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook for a few minutes for the sugar to dissolve. Remove it from the heat and let it cool completely before using.
- Add half of the berries to your pitcher. Then use the back of a wooden spoon or a muddler to break the up and turn them into a pulp. You could also puree the berries in a food processor and press them through a fine strainer if you don’t want any seeds in your drink.
- Pour in the cooled simple syrup, lemon juice and the rest of the fruit and stir to combine.
- When you are ready to serve add the sparkling water.
- It is best served over ice and you can garnish with extra berries, lemon slices and even a sprig of mint if you want.

Can I Use Frozen Berries
Yes, you definitely can. Even in the summer some berries can still be quite expensive. So use whatever you have and enjoy. If using frozen berries just let them thaw before using. And then muddle or put in the food processor like the recipe directs you to.
Can I Change The Berries
Of course! This recipe calls specifically for strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries. But you could add blueberries, or use all strawberries, or use a different blend of whatever berries you like. At the end of the day you need about 2 1/4 cups of berries, how you arrive at that total is up to you!

Can I Make This Ahead Of Time
This is great to make ahead of time for a get together. Just wait to add the sparkling water until you are ready to serve. But the rest can sit in the fridge and get nice and cold ahead of time.
So if you are looking for a fun twist on lemonade for this summer, this is it! Super easy to make, fresh, fruity, sweet, tart and definitely refreshing on a hot day.

Great recipe Erin. Nothing better than a tasty drink on a hot day.
I’ll help spread the word. One more day and I’ll be free as a bird for 3 days before the next visitors arrive.
