Copycat Recipes – whether you are trying to save money or just don’t want to go out, here are some of my favorite homemade versions of famous restaurant recipes.
I love going out to restaurants, but sometimes it is just as nice to stay at home and enjoy dinner in your own house. It can be more relaxing to sit around your own table, or even curl up on the couch and watch a movie. So today I am sharing a bunch of my favorite copycat recipes that you can make at home today! We have everything from Starbucks and Taco Bell to Olive Garden and Cheesecake Factory.
Copycat recipes are kind of fun to play around with at home. Sometimes they are easy to replicate, other times you just don’t get very close. My favorite thing about making them at home is I can lighten them up just a little, so I don’t feel as guilty eating them more often. I will often use some heavy cream and some skim milk in a pasta recipe so to get the richness, but not make it over the top like when you go out. It is definitely something you can play around with to get what you are looking for.
If you have a favorite restaurant recipe that isn’t on the list that you want to make at home, let me know! I will see if I can recreate it.
